Role: As a Database Administrator (DBA), you will be part of the DBA teams, who is responsible for the maintaining, deploying, monitoring of databases using PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, MongoDB... You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.
Responsibilities
Junior Level
-
Managing, controlling and monitoring database for user access permissions and security.
-
Performance monitoring and managing parameters to provide fast responses.
-
Further refining the physical design to meet system storage requirements and maintain data standards.
-
Writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata).
-
Developing, managing and testing backup and recovery plans.
Senior Level
-
Participate to transformation and architecture projects: There will be many architecture improvements and technical challenges, we are a rapidly growing big Data Center.

Responsible for database creation, maintenance and administration functions for all database environments including database tuning, upgrading, patching…. Manage users & user rights on the database system. Support for daily operation of Production and other departments in data mining and data manipulation.

Setup, configure and monitor operations of systems and databases, ETL jobs, tuning SQL command to ensure smooth operations.

Plan and manage resources to ensure that the systems (core databases, data warehouse, …) and servers ensure availability, integrity and confidentiality

Administrate and monitor the database firewall system to protect the database, set up warnings and prevent data loss through the monitoring system.

Troubleshoot problems from users to identify root causes, solutions, testing and implementation of systems relating to systems, servers, services and databases.

Involve into designing and developing database, including design/redesign databases/schemas, creating stored procedures, views, triggers...
YÊU CẦU CÔNG VIỆC
Junior Level
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
-
Constantly challenge yourself, upgrade yourself every day.
-
Basic knowledge of Linux operating and shell scripting.
-
Good at problem solving, algorithms, data structures.
-
Good knowledge of SQL, database systems, distributed systems.
-
Sensitivity to figures, knowledge of quantitative analysis, able to find problems, making and verifying assumptions from data.
Senior Level
Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years+ hands-on database experience on large scale and high performance in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Clickhouse.
-
At least 3-5 years of working experience related to Data (Database Administration/Database Developer/ Data Engineer/System Administration, etc.)
-
Strong DBA experience in Production environments and development team support.
-
Good experience in creating schemas, triggers, stored procedures, sequences, synonyms, and user-defined data types.
-
Solid knowledge of all aspects of database administration; including installation and configuration on multiple platforms, performance tuning, and fundamentals of security.
Skills:
-
Solid experience in PL/SQL, performance tuning, Data warehouse, ETL, Data modeling.
-
Practice with the complex cluster configuration based on PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, MongodB.
-
Strong experience with Ansible, Linux system, shell scripts and Database skills.
-
Strong troubleshooting skills in resolving issues in mission critical environments.
-
Practical knowledge of ANSIBLE, GIT and GITOps approaches.
-
Familiar with the monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, etc.).
-
Familiar with centralized logging tools (ELK, Splunk, Loki, Log analytics workspace, etc.).
-
Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, collaboration skills, strong team working ability.
